in a tree format.
DTREE.EXE - displays file informations for both the directories and the
local directory branches in a tree format.
FFIND.EXE - finds and lists the location of specific file(s) within a
disk or directory.
PRUNE.EXE - deletes all copies of specified file(s) within a disk or
directory.
RMTREE.EXE - removes all empty directorie(s) in a disk or directory.

Following are usage descriptions for each program.
----- LTREE.EXE ---------------------------------------------------------------
This program lists all specified files, including hidden and system files, in
the sub-directories of a specified disk or directory in a tree format. It
also displays the number of files and the number of bytes they occupy in each
directory. The usage is:
LTREE [disk:][\directory\...\][filename] [switch][output-filename]
[filename]: Name of the file(s) to be listed.
You can specify multiple files using DOS wildcards. (* and
?) If you don't enter a filename, the program will list all
files.
[switch]: You may specify one of these switches:
/l : Output list to a parallel printer.
/f : Output list to a file.
You must enter the filename immediately after the
switch. (example: /fFILELIST.LST)
/p : Display one screen at a time.
----- DTREE.EXE ---------------------------------------------------------------
This program displays file information for all the sub-directories of a
directory in a tree format. It displays the number of files, and the number of
bytes they actually occupy in each directory, and the number of bytes used in
each local branch. It also displays the total disk usage and total free space
on current disk. The usage is:
DTREE [disk:][\directory\...\] [switch][output-filename]
[switch]: You may specify one of these switches:
/l : Output to a parallel printer.
/f : Output to a file.
You must enter the filename immediately after the
switch. (example: /fTREEINFO.LST)
/p : Display one screen at a time.
----- FFIND.EXE ---------------------------------------------------------------
This program finds and lists the location of files in a disk or directory.
The program works recursively and will search through all sub-directories
of the specified disk or directory. The usage is:
FFIND [disk:][\directory\...\]<filename> [switch][output-filename]
<filename>: Name of file to be found.
You can specify multiple files using standard DOS
wildcards. (* and ?)
[directory]: Directory to be searched. If none is entered, the current
directory is searched.
[switch]: You may specify one of these switches:
/l : Output list to a parallel printer.
/f : Output list to a file.
You must enter the filename immediately after the
switch. (example: /fFILELIST.LST)
/p : Display one screen at a time.
----- PRUNE.EXE ---------------------------------------------------------------
This program recursively searches through a given directory or disk and
deletes all copies of the file specified by the user, including those in the
root directory. The usage is:
PRUNE [disk:][\directory\...\]<filename> [/x]
[directory]: Directory to be pruned. If none is entered, the current
directory is pruned.
<filename>: Name of the file(s) to be deleted. You can specify multiple
files using standard DOS wildcard. (* and ?) If you enter
*.*, the program deletes all files in the directory and
sub-directories.
[/x]: Turns off the deletion warning.
If you accidently delete all files in a directory or disk, you may still be
able to recover them with file-recovery programs. However, recovery of
any deleted files is never a sure thing, so care should be taken in the use
of this program.
----- RMTREE.EXE --------------------------------------------------------------
This program removes all empty directories within a specified disk or
directory. The usage is:
RMTREE [disk:][\directory\...\]
[directory]: Root directory of the branch to be removed. If none is
entered, the current directory becomes the root
directory.
The program works recursively, going from the lowest level of the branch up
to the specified directory, so if the root directory becomes empty
after all sub-directories are removed, it will be removed as well.
